PU SAM CAP CAVE
Running along the Northwest - Southeast direction, the Pu Sam Cap mountain range is also a natural boundary between Lai Chau commune, Tam Duong district, and Sin Ho district. This great tectonic formation is formed from limestone mountains, steep and divided to the North. And also on the northern slope, the mountain range has dozens of caves and underground streams stretching from Nung Nang commune through Nam Loong commune to Lan Nhi Thang commune.
Pu Sam Cap has main caves including: Thien Mon, Thien Duong, and Thuy Tinh.
Coming to Thien Mon Cave, visitors will feel the coolness emanating from the rocks and the gentle whisper of the great wind. With a high and wide cave dome, stalactite columns hang down from the ceiling and rise up from the underground like miniature Northwestern mountains and forests.
After visiting Thien Mon Cave, visitors will see a small road leading to Thien Duong Cave, a name that seems to exude its beauty and poetic beauty. When visiting, visitors' imagination will be maximized thanks to the naturally mysterious stalactites arranged. In front of the cave entrance, there is a lion made of stone standing tall and majestic as if a loyal protector dedicated its whole body to this place. Not stopping there, the winding curves under the cave floor, like terraced fields simulating the agriculture of highland ethnic people, will be seen when visitors continue to go down. Going deeper, a wonderful scene will appear with a multi-colored space with stalactites hanging down like a flower trellis with interesting, magical, and colorful shapes amidst shimmering water waves.
Since 2007, due to increased tourist demand, the Pu Sam Cap scenic complex has had better quality exploitation and service. Although its tourism potential is considered to be on par with Phong Nha Cave (Quang Binh), the number of tourists visiting this place still seems not to be commensurate with that.
In addition to focusing on investing in facilities, infrastructure, promoting management, etc., improving propaganda information and image promotion on mass media also contributes to helping Pu Sam The cable becomes a more attractive tourist destination in the Northwest, while contributing to raising the awareness and responsibility of the people here.
